Earthworks
Earthworks is a project by Garling Wu and Jessie Leov which brings together their respective practices in electroacoustic music and contemporary composition, exploring a myriad of thoughts and feelings around the natural world, addressing the growing urgency of climate change.
Comprising seven tracks of around 40 minutes in total, Earthworks combines field recordings of natural environments, acousmatic material, and acoustic instruments - including piano, voice and cello.
You can listen to one of our tracks from the forthcoming album, 'Sounding Bell'. It was first premiered at the Dalston Curve Gardens in London as part of a concert of new music curated by In The Dark and Transmission Radio.
